“REMEMBER TO MAKE YOUR DASH COUNT”
The Full Figured Industry Awards
I started The Full Figured Industry Awards because I believe in the power of representation and inclusivity. As a member of the full figured community myself, I have personally experienced the lack of visibility and opportunities for individuals with diverse body types. It ignited a fire within me to create a platform that celebrates and uplifts the incredible talent, creativity, and contributions of full figured individuals in the fashion and entertainment industries. I wanted to challenge the existing beauty standards, redefine what it means to be beautiful, and provide a space where every curve is celebrated. The Full Figured Industry Awards are not just about recognition; they are a movement towards a more inclusive future, where everyone feels empowered and embraced for who they are. Together, let's break barriers, rewrite the narrative, and inspire others to embrace their unique beauty and follow their dreams fearlessly.
Queen Size Magazine
I started Queen Size Magazine because I wanted to create a platform that celebrates and empowers plus-size women. As a curvy woman myself, I understand the struggles of feeling underrepresented and the constant pressure to conform to narrow beauty standards. I wanted to challenge those norms and showcase the beauty, talent, and strength of women of all sizes. Queen Size Magazine is a space where we can redefine what it means to be beautiful and inspire confidence and self-love. It's a place where fashion, lifestyle, and culture come together to uplift and amplify the voices of plus-size women. Through this magazine, I aim to create a community that supports and empowers women to embrace their bodies and live life unapologetically. Together, let's celebrate our curves and rewrite the narrative of beauty on our own terms.
Purple Stamp Artisan Soaps
I started creating soaps during the pandemic as a way to find solace and purpose during uncertain times. The global crisis left many of us feeling anxious and disconnected, and I was no exception. Seeking a therapeutic outlet, I turned to soap making as a creative and productive endeavor. It became a form of self-care, allowing me to channel my energy into something positive and constructive. Moreover, I realized that self-care and hygiene practices were more important than ever. By creating soaps, I could provide people with a little luxury and comfort in their daily lives while promoting good hygiene habits. The process of designing and crafting each soap became a meditative escape, reminding me of the beauty and simplicity that still exists amidst chaos. Through these handmade soaps, I hoped to spread a sense of joy, nourishment, and a reminder that even in the darkest of times, small acts of self-care can make a significant difference in our well-being.
